Annual Chicken Supper


You are invited to MVCC’s Annual Chicken Supper! The meal will be November 1st from 4:00- 7:00 pm. An adult meal is $10 and a child’s meal is $5. Carry- out meals are also available. Come out and support our church’s wonderful ministries.

Trunk or Treat!


MVCC will be hosting a Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 26th immediately following church at approximately 12:00 pm. There will be candy and lunch provided. Please join us for a family- friendly afternoon.

River Days Booth


MVCC- Black’s Chapel will be participating at River Days again this year. We will be serving delicious homemade fruit cobblers with ice cream, homemade pretzels, brownie sundaes and soft drinks. We will be located in booths 127- 128 on E. Water Street at the Walnut Street corner. River Days celebration is September 12, 13 and 14th. We will not be serving on Sunday.

Please come and visit our booth and enjoy our awesome cobblers and pretzels! You will be glad you did!!

Junior Beacons Bible Study


We now offer a small group for junior high and high school aged students. The group will meet every other Sunday beginning September 7th at 5:30 pm. This will be a time of fellowship and further exploration into what it means to be a Christian. There will be snacks, video clips, and discussion. God’s Not Dead Bible Study

We are conducting an adult bible study based on the movie God’s Not Dead. The group will meet September 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30th at 7:00pm. Please join us as we discuss the issues brought out in the film in greater detail. This study also aligns with our sermon series on Sunday mornings during this time. All are welcome to attend.
