We are a gathering of believers who meet to passionately worship God, grow in our faith, deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ, and serve God and others. We exist to love God and love people.
MVCC- Black’s Chapel will be participating at River Days again this year. We will be serving delicious homemade fruit cobblers with ice cream, homemade pretzels, brownie sundaes and soft drinks. We will be located in booths 127- 128 on E. Water Street at the Walnut Street corner. River Days celebration is September 12, 13 and 14th. We will not be serving on Sunday.
Please come and visit our booth and enjoy our awesome cobblers and pretzels! You will be glad you did!!
We now offer a small group for junior high and high school aged students. The group will meet every other Sunday beginning September 7th at 5:30 pm. This will be a time of fellowship and further exploration into what it means to be a Christian. There will be snacks, video clips, and discussion. Contact Ray Vanover at 812-319-8601 for additional information.
We are conducting an adult bible study based on the movie God’s Not Dead. The group will meet September 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30th at 7:00pm. Please join us as we discuss the issues brought out in the film in greater detail. This study also aligns with our sermon series on Sunday mornings during this time. All are welcome to attend.
Our new start time for our Sunday worship service is now 10:45 A.M. We hope to see you there!
